Electric Mobility Study (eMO) Product Release
Tata Technologies
This mini-site was put together to coincide with the public release of an all-electric vehicle designed by Tata Technologies. My role was primarily on the programming side, but I hade some latitude in working with the design to make it best work for the web. The result is a more "forward thinking" design and a departure from their more traditional corporate site.
With a tight budget, I was given an Adobe Photoshop document and some basic guidelines, but it was up to me to put the site together in a way that was friendly back to IE8 and mobile devices. Click on the image to view the site.
The Celestial Harbor Experience
CCS MFA Thesis project
Exploration is the hallmark of humanity, and pushing the boundaries of human experience is embedded into our DNA. This thesis explores the design and establishment of what will become a permanent community in Earth's orbit called the Celestial Harbor Experience. It will provide visitors the opportunity to experience life on a space station, dividing their time between simulated gravity and degrees of weightlessness.

Detroit 2.0
CCS MFA Group Project
For Design Studio III class, our group project was tasked to communicate how the people of Detroit were coping with living in a city where it is increasingly difficult to find and purchase healthy food. The project evolved to the point where we saw the need to chronicle Detroit's revival. We concluded that the best medium for this project would be the kind of animated video that could be shown on YouTube or Vimeo.

Starting with primary and secondary research, our team worked to create an interactive experience that seeks to reconnect people with where food comes from. Convivium is essentially a unique combination community garden, hydroponics farm, community gallery, hands on museum, greenhouse and tapas bar.

Present a "differentiated shopping experience for the unassisted retail sales floor". The process involved primary and secondary market research, ideation, and the creation of a working prototype to be presented to management at Whirlpool's headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.
